Concept:
He was asked to create a personal profile of the unsub. I am having no idea who I made a face trip to understand the subject and to create the one that is my vision.
I have perceived a subject related to the Punk / Grunge language, basically angry and praising the "no future." To accomplish my journey as a detective who uses a magnifying glass to notice the details, I used the enlarge tool and contextualization referring back to some elements that characterized his own graphics punk period.
Starting with the definite article taken from every speech I conducted in the first part of an experiment with typography playing Zoom (age / rage), overlaps and meta-languages to display the concept through the word which expresses the same. (Machine)
In the second part I tried rebuilding the unknown subject with pure graphic sperimentation, playing with negative spaces, forms and subjects.
Everything is reconnected by a general enlarge right in punk spirit, and the use of bitmap, color mode that excludes any halftone resembling the strong contrast of grunge.
